Immediate Carbon Reduction : By planting trees and engaging in ‘carbon
sequestration’, we will reduce the amount of CO2 already in the atmosphere.
Did you know that the average white pine tree absorbs almost 15 pounds (7 kilograms)
of CO2 per year? Our trees are planted for a minimum of 25 years, meaning each tree
will have the chance to absorb 375 pounds (175 kilograms) of carbon, which means
just 6 trees will offset 1 whole tonne of CO2!
Future Carbon Offsets : The second goal is to offset your energy requirements
with alternative sources of green energy. LimeGreen Earth helps by making sure we
either purchase or create, on your behalf, 100% new EPA (US Environmental Protection
Agency) certified green energy. That means traceable energy originating from wind, solar, or methane projects, is effectively powering your internet use!

Green Investment Initiatives: Together, our dedication to a carbon neutral
internet does not end with offsets and reductions. We are trying to find a completely
green and sustainable way of powering the internet for the future. LimeGreen Earth
will be investing in their own technologies as well as supporting other firms, particularly
not-for-profit which are dedicated to making a change.
